Nutridome Omega 1200 (Omega 3) 120 Softgel (Fish Omega)
Fish Oil Omega-3: TG vs. EE vs. rTG. Generational differences
Fish oil, extracted from nature, is made up of 3 fatty acids and one glycerin molecule (1st generation) in the form of triglyceride (TG). However, since Omega-3 fatty acids are only found in small amounts, an artificial process is used to combine ethanol molecules with Omega-3 fatty acids in a 1:1 ratio to increase the concentration of Omega-3 fatty acids. This produces the 2nd generation source of Omega-3, ethyl ester (EE) oil.
In recent years, the 3rd generation, re-esterified triglycerides (rTG) has gained attention. rTG is a form of molecule that has been converted back to glycerol from EE, combining the advantages of high concentration of Omega-3 from EE and high digestion and absorption rate of TG. However, it requires a more complicated production process and therefore comes with a higher production cost.
Fish oil and Omega-3
Fish oil is an excellent source of essential nutrients that contain a relatively high amount of animal-based Omega-3 fatty acids. They are mainly extracted from fish living in freshwater, such as anchovy, sardine, and mackerel, and are rich in important Omega-3 fatty acids like EPA and DHA. These fish oils are known to have a high effect on cardiovascular diseases, reducing bad cholesterol (LDL), and alleviating high blood pressure.
DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid)
DHA is an essential fatty acid that is crucial for the development of various parts of the body, such as the brain, nerves, and eyes.
EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid)
EPA has anti-inflammatory effects, reducing inflammation in the circulatory system and preventing blood clots. It has also been proven to effectively reduce symptoms of chronic inflammatory diseases, such as asthma and multiple sclerosis.
Alt Gold Max 500MG 120 Vegetarian Capsules (Joint Pain/Inflammation Relief)
Alt Gold Max is a dietary supplement for supporting joint and cartilage health. It is made of natural ingredients that work together to reduce pain and inflammation, while providing essential nutrients necessary for maintaining healthy joints. Its overall benefits include protecting cartilage from degradation, reducing inflammation, and promoting new cartilage growth.
MSM is an important source of sulfur, which is essential for healthy cartilage and other joint tissues. It plays a crucial role in protein synthesis and the formation of connective tissues, such as nails, skin, hair, joints, and other binding tissues.
Chondroitin is also known as chondroitin sulfate and is a natural substance found in the body that helps regenerate cartilage. As we age, the levels of chondroitin decrease, which can cause joint pain, stiffness, and osteoarthritis.
Turmeric helps inhibit three major enzymes (collagenase, elastase, and hyaluronidase) that are responsible for cartilage degradation. It also works by decreasing the production of Type 2 collagen, thus promoting cartilage regeneration.
Devil's Claw has been known to improve joint mobility and reduce pain and swelling associated with joint conditions. It is often recommended by natural healers for conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, muscle and joint pain, and other inflammatory conditions.
Nutridome Collagen 3000 500MG 180 Vegetarian Capsules (Joint Health/Chicken Collagen/Cartilage Regeneration)
Collagen is a major structural protein in both animals and humans that is found in various connective tissues and major organs, such as the eyes, arteries, bones, and internal organs. Among the 28 types of collagen known, Type 2 collagen is the most crucial for joint support and maintaining youthful skin.
As we age, our body's ability to produce Type 2 collagen, which peaks at age 18, decreases significantly by the time we reach 40. This results in the breakdown and deterioration of joints. Osteoarthritis is caused by the weakening of joint connecting tissues and loss of collagen, leading to a deterioration
