Moringa leaves have been reported to demonstrate antioxidant activity due to its high amount of phytochemicals. Antioxidants protect our cells from aging and being damaged by free radicals. Free radicals result from our daily activities and immune response.

A 2010 study found that Moringa seed and leaf extracts killed Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and Enterobacter aerogenes bacteria. Moringa extracts were also effective against Salmonella typhimurium, a germ that causes dysentery and inflammation of the stomach and intestines. In addition, the researchers found that Moringa has significant anti-fungal activity.

Ayurvedic medicine uses use moringa leaves for anti-inflammation. The paste of moringa leaves is applied to relieve pain and inflammation. In fact, the juice extract of moringa leaves are orally taken as natural analgesic.
Promotes healthy blood sugar levels
Moringa also appears to have anti-diabetic effects, likely due to compounds such as isothiocyanates. One study found women who took seven grams of moringa leaf powder daily for three months reduced their fasting blood sugar levels by 13.5% (Kushwaha et al. 2012, Kumari 2010).

FAQ
Q: Your Moringa 4x Powder appears brown rather than green. Is this really Moringa?
A: Moringa, in its natural state, displays green colour due to its chlorophyll content. When we make Moringa 4x concentrated product, we go through extraction using water as solvent. Unfortunately, chlorophyll is insoluble in water. As a result, extract wouldn’t have any chlorophyll, and thus does not appear green.
